Long Beach, CA (September 18, 2025) – A 67-year-old man sustained injuries and became trapped after a car accident on Tuesday evening in Long Beach. The event was communicated at approximately 7:04 PM. On September 17, Long Beach Police Dispatch reported that emergency responders arrived on Baker Street after receiving notifications about a man who was conscious and breathing but trapped next to a vehicle and suffering from chest pain. Firefighters focused on securing the area and extracting the victim from where he was trapped. Although his injuries were not characterized as life-threatening in the report, the chest pain and the fact that he was stuck necessitated prompt transport to a local hospital for additional assessment and treatment. There have been no further updates on what caused the crash or if other vehicles or people were involved. Authorities are currently investigating to clarify the events that resulted in the incident.
