Lindsay, CA (March 12, 2026) – A man was killed in a crash early Thursday morning, March 12, at the Highway 65 and Lindmore Street intersection near Lindsay in Tulare County. Emergency responders arrived before 6:30 a.m. following reports of a crash between two pickup trucks. According to authorities, a Ram 1500 heading north on Highway 65 turned onto Lindmore Street and crossed into the path of a Ford Ranger. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Investigators stated that the collision caused the Ford Ranger to veer south and hit a nearby light pole. The Ford Ranger’s driver, a man from Exeter, succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been released by officials yet. The Ram 1500 driver sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical assessment, according to authorities. The incident is still being investigated, with more information possibly emerging as the review proceeds. Our heartfelt condolences go to the family of the victim who died, and we hope for a complete recovery for the injured driver. Why Turning Collisions at Highway Intersections Are Dangerous. Primary travel routes such as Highway 65 typically experience consistent traffic flow at elevated speeds. In areas like Lindsay, when collisions happen near intersections, emergency teams usually close off the road while helping those affected. Making a turn across oncoming traffic poses a significant crash risk if vehicles are already moving on the highway.
