The incident took place just before 4:00 p.m. First responders arrived swiftly at the scene. Due to the severity of the incident, emergency crews and Copter 21 were dispatched. A landing zone was set up at the nearby NAO facility to prepare for a potential medical airlift. The pedestrian suffered injuries requiring advanced medical care, though details on their severity have not been made public. Local authorities shut down parts of the intersection as paramedics administered on-scene treatment and arranged for transportation.
