Lancaster, CA (January 16, 2026) – A pedestrian was reportedly hurt Tuesday evening in what appears to be a reckless driving incident in Lancaster. The event took place at approximately 9:00 p.m. Close to the intersection of 10th St W and Avenue K, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and emergency medical personnel responded. Dispatch audio initially reported multiple vehicles performing stunts in the area when a pedestrian was hit under unclear circumstances. Emergency responders were dispatched to aid the victim, although officials have not yet confirmed the person’s identity or injury severity. Police cordoned off the scene temporarily to treat the injured individual and launch an investigation. It’s unclear if any drivers involved stayed at the scene or if arrests have occurred related to the reckless actions. The case is still being investigated, and authorities are asking anyone with details or video to step forward.
