Cyclists frequently share roadways with bigger vehicles, heightening accident risks in crowded zones. Limited space, heavier traffic, and frequent turns can hinder drivers and cyclists from predicting each other’s actions. Visibility often poses a challenge, particularly when drivers are pulling into or out of driveways or parking lots. Bicycles are more compact and often tougher to see, especially in zones with intense traffic. Using visible clothing and lights can enhance awareness. Road conditions are also a factor.
