Lancaster, CA (September 10, 2025) – A collision occurred in the early afternoon close to Lancaster City Park on Monday, resulting in injuries to at least two individuals and leading to a swift reaction from emergency responders. The accident took place at approximately 1:11 PM at City Park Dr, where a blue car was located in the middle of the intersection, but all passengers had been evacuated by the time emergency crews arrived. Paramedics and fire teams swiftly responded to attend to the individuals affected. Public safety dispatch audio confirmed that one individual was injured inside the vehicle heading north. Responders were also looking into claims of a potential second victim located further down the street, possibly associated with another vehicle involved in the incident. The blue car was left positioned in the middle of the intersection near the park, which is a busy area during the day. Emergency services and firefighters from Squad 33 were observed at the scene addressing injuries and arranging transportation to local hospitals. Observers reported a chaotic situation, with responders managing the accident scene alongside another related area nearby. Officials are still verifying the status of the second injured individual, determining whether they were a pedestrian, another motorist, or a passenger in a different car. Traffic in the vicinity was temporarily halted as emergency responders cordoned off sections of City Park Dr to address the incident and clear the area. A thorough investigation is currently being conducted to identify the cause and the complete scope of the incident.
