The dispatch location was identified as westbound I-10, with no city or nearby cross street provided in the report. CHP records placed the incident within the San Bernardino area.
A reporting party at the scene was identified as being in the Kia. The person planned to contact the vehicle’s owner, according to a CHP update logged about two minutes after the initial report.
