Julian, CA (September 5, 2025) – On Thursday evening, a fatal motorcycle accident took place in Julian, a town in San Diego County, resulting in the death of one rider and injuries to another, who was subsequently hospitalized. Emergency teams swiftly arrived at the location of the accident, diligently working to assist those affected. Despite their efforts to save lives, one individual was sadly declared dead at the site, and another was taken to the hospital for additional treatment. The incident occurred at approximately 6:06 in the evening. On southbound Highway 79, slightly south of Harrison Park Rd, initial reports indicate that a male and female motorcycle duo collided with an SUV under uncertain conditions. The collision resulted in both riders being thrown onto the street, and the SUV lost control, going down an embankment at the side of the road. Observers reported that the male cyclist was unresponsive and having difficulty breathing following the accident, while the female cyclist called for assistance before being transported for medical treatment. The identity of the person who died has not yet been disclosed.
