What Usually Occurs After an Injury Accident on California’s Freeways. In California, freeway accidents resulting in injuries and lane closures exhibit a relatively consistent response pattern. The California Highway Patrol usually leads scene management, overseeing traffic control and ensuring disabled vehicles are removed as swiftly as possible. Maintaining clear lanes is essential, as obstructions on high-traffic routes like Interstate 5 can rapidly generate additional risks for fellow motorists. When a person complains of headache following a crash, emergency personnel handle it with great care.
