Huntington Beach, CA (March 30, 2026) – A motorcyclist was discovered unconscious after colliding with a car near southbound Pacific Coast Highway and 25th Street in Huntington Beach on Sunday, March 29. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 3:59 p.m. Early reports have not confirmed the rider’s condition during transport. Following the crash, traffic control was called to the area. No additional information has been disclosed regarding the vehicle involved or the cause of the collision. Officials are still probing the cause of the crash, with additional details to be shared as they become available. Our thoughts go out to those impacted as they recover. What Makes Pacific Coast Highway a Dangerous Road for Motorcyclists in California? The Pacific Coast Highway follows some of California’s most picturesque and busy coastal stretches, attracting local commuters, tourists, and leisure cyclists year-round. The road has extended straight sections interrupted by intersections and driveways, potentially causing abrupt conflict zones between motorcycles and turning vehicles. Traffic builds up considerably along the coast on Sunday afternoons, particularly as beachgoers head home. Motorcyclists are much more vulnerable than car drivers in collisions, and an unconscious rider at the scene usually indicates a severe crash.
