A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was logged Monday afternoon on southbound Interstate 680 near the Calaveras Road off-ramp. The incident was reported at approximately 3:41 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2026.
The California Highway Patrol identified the location as southbound I-680 just south of Calaveras Road. The dispatch information did not provide details about the circumstances of the collision or indicate that any roadway lanes were blocked.
A later CHP update stated that one license plate had been reported lost or stolen, while another plate remained on the vehicle. The plate was associated with a silver 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.
Palmdale police were listed as the authority connected to the plate information. CHP dispatch classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries.
