A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was documented on Griffith Avenue in California early Sept. 20, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident under its hit-and-run, no-injury designation.
The incident was recorded at about 3:31 a.m. at a location on Griffith Avenue. CHP information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide a description of the circumstances surrounding the collision.
A later dispatch update, logged at about 1:24 p.m., directed personnel to contact the Yuba City Police Department. The update indicated no officer-safety concern.
The available CHP information does not document injuries, a vehicle description, arrests or a roadway closure. The incident remained categorized as a hit-and-run without reported injuries in the available dispatch record.
