The incident was handled by CHP’s South Sacramento area. Dispatch information classified it as a hit-and-run without injuries, but did not provide descriptions of the vehicles involved or explain how the collision occurred.
A later CHP update at 3:56 p.m. referenced the victim and noted an unknown neighboring address associated with Unit 4. The update did not add information about damage, the direction of travel, or the vehicle that left the scene.
No ambulance, fire response, lane closure, or towing request was listed in the available dispatch information. CHP’s record contained no additional details about the suspect vehicle or any subsequent enforcement action.
