A hit-and-run incident involving no reported injuries was documented Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Leon Road and Keller Road in California. The California Highway Patrol recorded the incident at about 3:48 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2026.
By 3:51 p.m., a vehicle had been located on the right-hand shoulder near the intersection. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicle’s make, model, color or the circumstances of the hit-and-run.
CHP requested towing assistance for the vehicle. The available dispatch entry did not indicate that traffic lanes were blocked or that additional emergency medical resources were needed.
The report classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no injuries. No further operational details were included in the available CHP update.
