A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was logged late Sept. 4 on westbound Interstate 10 near the Poe Inspection Station in the Blythe area. The California Highway Patrol listed the incident time as 11:19 p.m.
The reported location was westbound I-10 at mile marker 156.1, near the inspection station. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicle involved or provide details about how the incident occurred.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run without injuries. No lane closures, roadway blockage, ambulance response or fire department activity was listed in the available dispatch information.
A later update at 11:54 p.m. noted contact with the Department of Public Safety. The dispatch record provided no further publicly usable details about the vehicle, driver or circumstances of the incident.
