A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was documented on Torrance Boulevard near South Vermont Avenue at about 4:51 p.m. Sept. 26, 2026. The incident occurred in the eastbound direction, just west of Vermont Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol’s South Los Angeles area handled the report. Dispatch information classified the incident as a hit-and-run collision and indicated that no injuries were reported.
By about 4:55 p.m., the reporting party had requested CHP assistance. The vehicle involved in the report was in a driveway just west of South Vermont Avenue rather than in the roadway.
The reporting party also indicated that the incident was not blocking traffic at the time of the update. CHP dispatch information did not provide descriptions of the vehicles or further details about how the collision occurred.
