A hit-and-run collision was reported Aug. 15 on southbound U.S. 101 just south of Bailey Road in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The collision was reported at approximately 5:56 p.m. in the southbound lanes. CHP’s Hollister-Gilroy area handled the incident.
A reporting party later contacted CHP and indicated they would complete a report in person. That update was recorded at about 7 p.m.
The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide additional details about the circumstances of the hit-and-run. No injuries were reported in the initial incident classification.
