A hit-and-run incident was reported at 11:09 p.m. Sept. 17 on northbound Interstate 15 south of State Route 60 in the Riverside area. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The dispatch identified the location as the northbound side of I-15 near the State Route 60 interchange. No further vehicle description or details about the circumstances of the hit-and-run were included in the available CHP information.
A later CHP update, recorded at 1:02 a.m. Sept. 18, indicated that towing assistance was at the scene. The update did not provide additional information about the vehicle involved or whether traffic lanes were blocked.
