A hit-and-run incident was reported Aug. 21 on Bruceville Road near the Calvine and Power Inn roads intersection in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a no-injury hit-and-run.
The report was received at about 3:44 p.m. The location was listed on Bruceville Road near the Calvine and Power Inn roads area.
About 10 minutes later, a reporting party told CHP that the driver involved had a dog. The dispatch information did not identify the driver or provide a description of the dog.
CHP recorded no reported injuries in connection with the incident. The available dispatch information did not include further details about the vehicle, the direction of travel or whether the driver was located.
