A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was documented Thursday afternoon at a Jack in the Box parking lot on Scotts Valley Drive in California. The incident was reported at about 3:25 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2026.
The location was identified as the Jack in the Box parking lot on Scotts Valley Drive. The available CHP information did not identify the vehicles involved or describe the circumstances of the collision.
A CHP dispatch update issued at about 3:31 p.m. noted that the suspect vehicle had its rear window open. No additional vehicle description was provided in the update.
