(Los Angeles, CA) Police are seeking public assistance to identify the driver in a hit-and-run crash on Woodley Avenue early last month that left a 44-year-old man seriously injured. The Los Angeles Police Department reports the incident happened around 5:45 a.m. in December. In the Panorama City area, there are 7. Investigators stated that the pedestrian was walking along the roadway on Woodley Avenue near Sherman Way. A gray sedan traveling northbound struck the victim at some point. The driver fled the scene without stopping after the crash. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department took the man to a hospital, where he received treatment for what officials called severe injuries. The police did not disclose the victim’s name. On Jan. 5. LAPD released video of the suspected vehicle, hoping someone will recognize the car or provide information about the driver.
