A hit-and-run incident involving a blue Dodge Ram was reported at East Clark Avenue and Foxenwood Lane at about 4:18 p.m. Sept. 26, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The incident was handled through the Santa Maria CHP area.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries. The dispatch information did not indicate that anyone required medical treatment.
The vehicle was described as a blue 2011 Dodge Ram. It was last noted traveling northbound on Foxenwood Lane near the intersection with East Clark Avenue.
The driver was described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old with long brown hair. That description was relayed in a CHP update issued shortly after the initial report.
