A hit-and-run incident involving a vehicle was reported Aug. 21 on Rico Street near State Route 183 and Pajaro. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The initial report was logged at 11:51 a.m. near the 1100 block of Rico Street. Dispatch information placed the incident near the intersection area of State Route 183 and Pajaro.
A later CHP update at 1:54 p.m. stated that the reporting party’s vehicle had damage to the driver’s side. The damage was significant enough that the driver-side door could not be opened or closed.
CHP’s dispatch information did not provide a description of the vehicle that left the scene or identify a suspect. No injuries were reported in the incident classification.
