Damage from a hit-and-run collision was reported at the intersection of 165th Avenue and Los Banos on Sept. 20, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The collision was logged at approximately 3:16 p.m. in the CHP Hayward area. The dispatch location identified the intersection as 165th Avenue at Los Banos.
A subsequent CHP update at about 3:19 p.m. stated that the reporting party came upon traffic-collision damage. The dispatch did not identify the vehicle believed to have left the scene.
No vehicle descriptions, suspect information, lane closures, ambulance response or towing activity were included in the available CHP information. The record remained classified as a hit-and-run incident without reported injuries.
