The California Highway Patrol received a report of a hit-and-run incident at about 8:07 a.m. Aug. 13, 2026, near Isleton Road and Andrus Island Road. The incident was reported in the northbound direction, just south of the intersection, in the South Sacramento CHP area.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries. The dispatch description also identified it as a non-contact incident.
A subsequent CHP update was logged at about 8:18 a.m. The available dispatch information did not provide vehicle descriptions, details about the circumstances, or information about traffic lanes being blocked.
No additional details about the involved parties or the vehicle believed to have left the scene were included in the CHP dispatch information.
