A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was reported at about 3:34 p.m. Sept. 21 on westbound U.S. 50 at Interstate 5 in California. The incident was handled through the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento area.
The reporting party told CHP she had been involved in a traffic collision but left the scene because she did not see where the other vehicle had stopped. The dispatch information did not identify the other vehicle or describe the damage.
According to a CHP update at 3:39 p.m., the reporting party continued on her way to pick someone up from work after leaving the collision location. The incident was classified as a hit-and-run without injuries.
The dispatch identified the location as the westbound junction area of U.S. 50 and Interstate 5. No additional information about the circumstances of the collision or the other vehicle was provided.
