A hit-and-run collision was reported Aug. 21, 2026, on northbound U.S. 101 near the Conejo scales in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The collision was reported at approximately 11:44 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or describe the circumstances of the crash.
CHP logged an update shortly afterward, at approximately 11:45 a.m. The incident was handled through the agency’s Moorpark area, and the dispatch assigned a collision report number.
The available CHP information does not indicate whether lanes were blocked, whether a tow truck was needed, or whether the involved vehicle or driver was located. No additional injury information was reported in the dispatch update.
