A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was recorded Aug. 29 on eastbound State Route 24 at the Martin Luther King Boulevard off-ramp. The incident was reported at approximately 4:48 p.m. in the area covered by the California Highway Patrol’s Oakland office.
The location was further described as the eastbound State Route 24 connection onto the 51st off-ramp. CHP dispatch information placed a vehicle on the right-hand side of the off-ramp.
The incident was classified as a violation involving a driver who left the scene, and CHP noted that no injuries were reported. The available dispatch update did not identify the vehicles involved or provide a description of the fleeing driver.
A CHP detail entered at approximately 4:55 p.m. confirmed the vehicle’s position on the right side of the off-ramp. No additional information about traffic restrictions, medical response or the vehicle’s eventual removal was included in the dispatch record.
