A hit-and-run collision was reported Tuesday afternoon on southbound Interstate 110 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was recorded at about 3 p.m. Aug. 18, 2026. CHP dispatch information placed it on the southbound freeway near the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard area, within the agency’s Central Los Angeles coverage area.
A subsequent CHP update at 3:05 p.m. stated that the collision had occurred southbound on Interstate 110 near MLK. The dispatch did not provide descriptions of the vehicles involved.
CHP identified the incident as a hit-and-run, but the available dispatch information did not include further details about the other vehicle or the circumstances of the crash. No injuries were reported in the incident classification.
