At Hillstone Law, we believe in justice both inside and outside the courtroom. That’s why we’re proud to offer the Hillstone Law Scholarship, an annual award designed to support driven law students and pre-law undergraduates who are dedicated to pursuing a career in helping others.

Scholarship Overview

• Purpose
  The Hillstone Law Scholarship recognizes students committed to advancing fairness, access to justice, and legal advocacy. Whether you’re pursuing law to represent the underrepresented or improve personal injury law systems, we want to support your journey.
• Who May Apply
  Open to current pre-law undergraduates and first- and second-year law students enrolled at an accredited U.S. institution.

Application Requirements

1. Personal Information
   • Full name, current institution, expected graduation date, and contact details.
   • Student ID (optional but helpful for processing).
2. Academic and Professional Materials
   • Current résumé or CV.
   • Official or unofficial transcript.
3. Essay Submission
   • Choose one of the following prompts (approximately 1,000 words maximum):
     • Option A: Describe a time you witnessed an injustice and how it inspired you to pursue law.
     • Option B: Discuss how personal injury law changes lives, and how you plan to make an impact in that field.
     • Option C: Reflect on what legal advocacy means to you and how you’ll uphold these values in your future career.
   • Please include a title, citations (if applicable), and a bibliography if sources are referenced.
4. Optional, Personal Statement
   • A brief additional statement (≤ 250 words) highlighting any financial need, leadership, community service, or unique experiences.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

• Depth of insight and clarity of writing.
• Demonstrated commitment to justice, advocacy, or public service.
• Academic performance and leadership potential.
• Possible financial need (if disclosed).
