Hawthorne, CA (November 16, 2025) – A car accident resulted in injuries and emergency personnel were dispatched to the area where West El Segundo Boulevard intersects with Prairie Avenue in Hawthorne on Saturday morning. The event was reported just after 1:11 a.m. As a result of the crash, emergency medical services were called to help those who were injured. When paramedics arrived, they immediately tended to the wounded individuals on site. One person needed additional treatment and was taken to a local hospital. The details of the injuries have not been disclosed yet. The intersection of W El Segundo Blvd and Prairie Ave is a heavily trafficked area, and the accident caused temporary delays as authorities worked to clear the scene and carry out an initial investigation. Authorities have not provided specifics about the number of vehicles involved or the circumstances surrounding the accident. An investigation is currently being conducted to find out the cause of the crash, including the possibility of driver error, speed, or road conditions being contributing factors.
