A gray Tesla Model 3 and a white Honda SUV were involved in a traffic collision on northbound State Route 85 near Interstate 280 on Aug. 24, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was reported at about 3:22 p.m. on northbound 85, just south of Interstate 280. CHP dispatch identified the location near the northbound State Route 85 connector to Interstate 280.
The vehicles involved were described as a gray Tesla Model 3 and a white Honda sport utility vehicle. The dispatch information did not indicate that either vehicle overturned, caught fire or became disabled in a travel lane.
CHP received the vehicle details at approximately 3:24 p.m. No injuries were reported in the available dispatch information, and the log did not document a lane closure, ambulance response or towing request.
