The California Highway Patrol identified the vehicles in its dispatch as a gray Kia and a black Honda. The initial description indicated that the front of the Kia was involved in the collision with the Honda.
The crash location was listed as the area of a gas station at the intersection. CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries.
A follow-up dispatch entry was recorded at approximately 1:16 a.m., two minutes after the initial report. The available CHP information did not document additional injuries, lane closures, or other roadway impacts.
