Gilroy, CA (September 30, 2025) – Local authorities reported that one individual was injured on Monday morning in a two-car accident on westbound State Route 152, close to Whitehurst Road. The accident happened around 7:20 in the morning. A white van and a white Toyota pickup truck were involved in the incident. Emergency responders arrived quickly, with paramedics attending to the injured person, who sustained what were reported as minor injuries. The victim did not need to be taken to a trauma center, but received medical care at the scene. Both cars were heavily damaged in the accident. The van was towed away due to a damaged rear axle, and the Toyota pickup showed noticeable damage to its front end. Traffic in the vicinity was temporarily affected as crews cleared the road. The reason behind the crash is still being examined. We wish the injured individual a quick and seamless recovery.
