Passing Maneuvers and Motorcycle Crash Risks on Rural Roads. Streets like Reed Avenue and Annadale Avenue frequently link farming regions and small towns. In Fresno County accidents, responders usually secure the intersection while aiding those involved. Passing slower vehicles on two-lane roads can pose hazards as drivers enter lanes typically used by oncoming traffic. These maneuvers can shorten the time drivers have to spot motorcycles or other vehicles already on the road. Being smaller than passenger cars, motorcycles are more difficult for drivers to detect when passing.
