Fresno County, CA (April 3, 2026) – A 20-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a collision between a quad and a pickup truck in Fresno County. The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, April 1, close to the Anchor Ave and Floral Ave intersection. Reports indicate that the quad rider was heading north on Anchor Ave when he veered into the southbound lane, crossing into the path of an oncoming Toyota pickup truck. The pickup’s driver tried to brake and swerve to avoid the collision but couldn’t stop in time. The rider on the quad bike was hit and sustained serious injuries. Emergency services airlifted the injured man to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. Officials confirmed the Toyota driver was arrested later on suspicion of DUI. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed. Officials are still probing the reason for the accident, with additional information to be shared once it is obtainable.
