Fresno County, CA (October 9, 2025) – Officials are looking into a deadly traffic incident that took place Wednesday afternoon close to Road 621, roughly a mile east of Highway 49 in the countryside of Fresno County. The incident was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. as per the communication from the Central Division of the California Highway Patrol. Early reports suggested that a vehicle was either halted or stationed on the road, and a sizable black bag was discovered in the vicinity. Police officers who responded to the location verified that there may be a death. Information regarding the victim and the specifics of the situation has not been disclosed at this time. CHP units arrived to evaluate the situation and ensure the area was secured while the investigation is underway.
