Fresno, CA (October 11, 2025) – On Friday night, a series of accidents resulting in injuries took place on northbound Highway 99 in Fresno, causing traffic disruptions near the interchanges of CA-180 and Belmont Ave. Emergency teams, including Fresno Fire, EMS, and police, were sent to various locations beginning at approximately 8:40 p.m. following reports of consecutive incidents occurring along the Hwy 99 corridor. One of the injured individuals was a woman who needed medical care, leading paramedics to arrange for her to be taken to a local hospital. Extra medical teams were deployed to different accident locations in the vicinity to guarantee that all injured individuals received medical assistance. Early reports suggested that at least two distinct accidents happened near each other, resulting in considerable hold-ups on the northbound lane of the highway. Firefighters from various stations were alternated among different incidents to guarantee a prompt response. Although the exact number of vehicles involved and the total injuries have not been revealed, police have stated that traffic was disrupted as crews worked to clear the accident sites and initiate their inquiries. Investigators are examining the causes of the collisions and are asking any witnesses to come forward with information.
