Fresno, CA (January 13, 2026) – A hit-and-run incident near Herndon Ave and N Cedar Ave intersection injured one woman on January 12. The incident took place just before 2:22 p.m. It involved a sideswipe collision, per dispatch audio and accounts from emergency responders. The reporting party, driving a black Range Rover, informed authorities that a gray Honda SUV sideswiped her, leaving her with hip pain after the crash. EMS was called to the scene to assess her injuries. She moved to the nearby former Applebee’s parking lot to wait for medical help and talk to police. The suspect’s vehicle—a gray Honda SUV with an unidentified license plate—fled the scene, heading west toward the St. Agnes area. Police responded by searching for the hit-and-run driver, but no arrests or further updates have been reported at this time. The Fresno Police Department continues to probe the incident. We extend our heartfelt wishes to the woman hurt in the crash and hope for her quick and complete recovery.
