Fremont, CA (March 24, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Tuesday morning, March 24, in a multi-vehicle collision on I-880 near the Stevenson Blvd on-ramp in Fremont. The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. on the southward side of the freeway. According to reports, the crash involved a motorcycle and multiple vehicles, including a white Dodge, a blue Toyota, and a white Ford Mustang. Witnesses reported that a vehicle hit the motorcycle, leading to a secondary collision between another vehicle and the rider. Emergency services reached the location and discovered the motorcyclist suffering from severe injuries. The wounded rider was transported to a local hospital for medical care. Officials reported no further injuries among the other drivers involved. Multiple southbound lanes of I-880 were closed for a while after the crash, leaving only the express lane open as crews handled the scene. All lanes were eventually reopened once the wreckage and debris had been removed from the road.
