An 8833-year-old man tragically lost his life on Saturday evening, November 29, due to a car accident on San Ysidro Boulevard. The San Diego Police Department reported that the incident took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 200 range of East San Ysidro Boulevard. Authorities reported that a 71-year-old man was driving a 2011 Jeep Liberty westward after leaving the freeway. While walking, the individual was suddenly hit by a vehicle. Upon arrival of the paramedics, they assessed the injured person who was experiencing a broken pelvis and a bleeding brain. They took him to a nearby hospital, where his condition was labeled as critical. Even with life-saving efforts, the doctors declared the victim dead. The San Diego Medical Examiner later confirmed his identity as Eduardo Sanchez.
