An injury-status collision was reported at about 2:13 p.m. Sept. 10 on eastbound Interstate 10 near the Arlington Avenue off-ramp in California. The California Highway Patrol dispatch identified the location as just west of Arlington Avenue and listed an ambulance as en route.
The dispatch did not provide the number or types of vehicles involved. It also did not state whether anyone was injured or whether any lanes were blocked by the collision.
A later update at about 3:48 p.m. indicated that one vehicle was on its way while freeway service patrol assistance was involved with an additional vehicle. The update said the vehicle would be taken to a gas station off the freeway.
CHP dispatch information did not identify the cause of the collision or provide further details about the vehicles. The incident was handled along the eastbound freeway near the Arlington Avenue off-ramp.
