A traffic collision was reported at about 3:39 p.m. Sept. 21 on eastbound State Route 24 near the Martin Luther King off-ramp. The incident occurred just west of the off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
CHP classified the collision as a crash involving no reported injuries. The dispatch did not provide details about the vehicles involved or the circumstances leading to the collision.
By 3:53 p.m., the vehicles were being relocated to 51st, based on a subsequent CHP update. The relocation indicated that the vehicles were being moved from the initial collision area.
The incident was handled within the CHP Oakland area along eastbound State Route 24. No additional information about lane closures, emergency medical treatment or towing was included in the dispatch.
