East Los Angeles, CA (March 18, 2026) – A pedestrian died Monday night, March 16, in a hit-and-run incident on Olympic Boulevard near Arizona Avenue. California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene around 11:00 p.m. and discovered a man lying in the road. A white sedan that hit him was left abandoned close by, showing clear front-end damage. According to witnesses, the driver briefly halted before running away on foot, abandoning the victim. Fire department personnel declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. The authorities have not disclosed the victim’s identity. The details of the crash are still being investigated.
