Dublin, CA (March 25, 2026) – Minor injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle collision with two big rigs on westbound Interstate 580 near San Ramon Rd in Dublin. Emergency responders arrived around 9:00 p.m. On Tuesday, March 24, following reports of a multi-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of the freeway. Initial reports show that six vehicles, including two tractor-trailers, were involved in the crash. The collision resulted in hazardous materials spilling onto the roadway, leading hazmat teams to respond and aid in the cleanup. The spill necessitated extra safety precautions while crews secured the area and cleared debris from the highway. Authorities confirmed minor injuries linked to the crash. The precise number of injuries remains unspecified, and it’s uncertain if any victims were transported to a hospital. The incident also caused major closures of westbound lanes as crews handled the scene. Officials have not given a timeline for the full reopening of all lanes.
