A no-injury traffic collision was reported at about 4:41 p.m. Aug. 29 on eastbound Interstate 105 near Long Beach Boulevard in California. The location was approximately one mile west of Long Beach Boulevard, between markers 77 and 210.
The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or describe damage from the collision.
At about 4:49 p.m., a reporting party told CHP that the driver of a vehicle involved had pulled over. The driver was then seen picking up tools and debris from the freeway lanes.
CHP dispatch information did not document any ambulance or fire response, lane closure, tow request, or additional injuries. The latest available update concerned the removal of the tools and debris from the roadway.
