A hit-and-run incident was reported at about 9:33 p.m. Sept. 14 on westbound Interstate 10 near South Alameda Street in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
By 9:41 p.m., both vehicles had pulled over to the right shoulder, according to a CHP dispatch update. The parties were then involved in a physical altercation at the scene.
CHP reported that a person in a Toyota Tacoma left the scene after the altercation. The dispatch information did not identify the other vehicle involved.
The incident was documented on westbound Interstate 10 just east of Alameda Street. No additional injuries, medical response or later outcome were included in the available CHP update.
