A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported at 3:08 p.m. Sept. 24 on southbound State Route 41 near the Shields Avenue off-ramp in California. The CHP location description placed the incident just north of Shields Avenue.
The dispatch identified one vehicle involved in the reported incident. That vehicle was unable to start after the collision.
Freeway service patrol assistance was requested for the disabled vehicle. The request indicated that patrol support should begin when a unit became available.
