A traffic collision involving a Lexus RX 350 was reported at about 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, on northbound U.S. 101 near the Whipple Avenue on-ramp in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with unknown injuries.
The vehicle was reported near the Whipple Avenue interchange, where the northbound freeway connects with the on-ramp. CHP dispatch information identified the Lexus as a Lexus RX 350.
The Lexus was not drivable after the collision, according to a CHP update issued at about 2:29 p.m. The dispatch also indicated that an ambulance response was declined.
No additional vehicle descriptions, roadway closures or lane blockages were provided in the available CHP information. The incident was handled within the CHP’s Redwood City area.
