West Covina, CA (May 25, 2026) – One person was killed Monday morning after a three-vehicle collision on the San Bernardino Freeway in West Covina. The crash occurred at approximately 3:13 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10, just west of the Grand Avenue exit. The California Highway Patrol reported that two sedans and a utility truck were involved in the incident. A witness informed officers that one of the vehicles appeared to be crushed. One individual was declared dead at the scene, the report said. All eastbound lanes were shut down by approximately 3:20 a.m. for the investigation and remediation. The HOV lane reopened at approximately 4:30 a.m. Video captured at the scene revealed significant damage to a white sedan in the middle lanes, with a utility truck pressed against the rear of a dark-colored Tesla.
